The Team & Comic
The New Warriors were a group created by Night Thrasher, a millionaire youngster who was eager for vengeance after helplessly suffering his parents' murder. Night Thrasher returned the powers of Rich Rider by throwing him off of a roof. He also recruited Firestar, and the rest of the group sort of informally joined. In fact, the idea of creating a group to fight crime had been induced by Tai, one of the boy's keepers, who had been manipulating everybody on behalf of a Pact that would give her enormous powers. The Warriors managed to get rid of her and follow their own paths. New members keep coming and going, like Bandit, Turbo and the Scarlet Spider.
The original members of the team included Night Thrasher, Marvel Boy (later called Justice), Firestar, Speedball, Nova, and Namorita (later called Kymaera).
